What is Toll Blending?
Toll blending, also known as contract manufacturing, is the outsourcing of lubricant blending to a specialized partner. At NPL, we take your formula, raw materials, and packaging requirements to deliver a finished product ready for shipping. Our services cover blending and packaging of lubricants and greases — from bulk volumes to retail packs as small as 200 ml.
Our Capabilities
NPL’s toll blending facilities are equipped with stainless steel, carbon steel, and HDPE mixing vessels to manufacture high-quality oil blends, lubricants, and greases. Multiple mixing vessels and variable-speed blenders allow for flexible batch sizes, supporting both large-scale campaigns and multiple projects simultaneously.
Our plants feature fully automated filling and packaging lines for small containers, along with online batch printing and advanced quality monitoring systems. This ensures accurate tracking, efficiency, and consistent product quality every time.
Facilities:
NPL operates three state-of-the-art lube oil blending plants and twenty-five AdBlue® manufacturing facilities, giving us the scale and flexibility to serve diverse client needs. Together, these facilities deliver an impressive capacity of over 1,00,000 KL of lubricants, 9,000 MT of greases, and 9,00,000+ KL of AdBlue® annually.
Our advanced packaging lines accommodate a wide range of packs from 100 ml bottles to 1,000 L IBCs, including drums, pails, and bulk tankers. With 10,000 KL of in-house storage capacity and an additional 20,000 KL at port facilities, we ensure smooth operations for both domestic and international clients. To further support global distribution, NPL also offers sea cargo container filling.
